Bethel Heights was founded in 1977 by the Casteel brothers in the Eola Amity Hills now under second generation winemaker Ben Casteel and the Casteel Chardonnay is the family's flagship: a vintage selected bottling drawn from the oldest blocks (planted in 1977) and adjacent 1994 plantings.
